Abstract:
The present invention is an information processing system for a vehicle for determining a recommended position for driving operation in a prescribed area where driving operation is supported. The system is provided with a storage means that associates and stores, for each prescribed area, driving operation information for a driver and position information for the vehicle. A driving operation pattern for a prescribed area is identified on the basis of information stored in the storage means and by taking into consideration a driving operation state that straddles a prescribed area and the outside of the prescribed area, and a recommended position for driving operation in the prescribed area is determined according to this identified driving operation pattern. With this configuration, even if some of the driving operations from a group of driving operations included in the driving operation pattern are performed outside the area, the recommended position for driving operations can be determined by identifying the driving operation pattern, and high-precision support that is adapted to the driver can be carried out.
