Abstract:
An information prompting method, comprising the following steps: detecting and determining whether a mobile phone is playing back a video (S1); if so, blocking all preset notification reminders on a terminal device (S2), the notification reminders comprising an interface prompt and a voice prompt; extracting time labels of all subtitles in the played back video, and calculating an interval between every two adjacent subtitles (S3); acquiring an intermediate point of all the intervals between two adjacent subtitles with an interval exceeding a preset interval threshold, and marking same as a prompt point (S4); determining by means of monitoring whether the mobile phone has received new information (S5), if so, acquiring a first prompt point following the current playback time progress of the played back video (S6); when the current playback time progress of the played back video reaches the first prompt point, displaying the new information on the played back video until reaching the display time point of the next subtitle (S7). The method can avoid interrupting immersive film watching of a user, and belongs to the field of mobile communication technology.
