Abstract:
This information providing apparatus for vehicles enables the production of a substantially identical sound pressure of blowing sound output from an auditory information providing means among finished products. The information providing apparatus is provided with an auditory information providing means (240) for issuing an alarm concerning a predetermined vehicle state in the form of auditory information, and a control means (202) for operating the auditory information providing means (240). The control means (202) receives a state signal regarding the vehicle state via at least one of a vehicle information input means (210) and a multiplex communication input/output means (211), and operates the auditory information providing means (240) so that a predetermined blowing sound is blown on the basis of the state signal. The control means (202) operates the auditory information providing means (240) such that the blowing sound has a certain constant sound pressure (set sound pressure M) regardless of variations in the characteristics of at least one component of the auditory information providing means (240).
