Abstract:
The present invention provides an information providing device characterized by having: a reception means which receives, from a portable power supply device including a battery that accumulates power to be supplied to a detachably connected electric device, power information pertaining to the amount of power accumulated in said battery; a storage means which stores the power information received by the reception means in association with user identification information for identifying a user of the power supply device; and a provision means which determines, on the basis of the power information stored in the storage means, whether the power accumulated in the battery can be sold or whether power should be accumulated in the battery, and which provides the determination results to the user of the power supply device.
