Abstract:
The disclosed information providing device is provided with a vehicle information acquisition unit (220) for acquiring vehicle information about multiple vehicles, a charge history information acquisition unit (220) for acquiring charge history information relating to the charge history of the multiple vehicles, a charge facility information acquisition unit (220) for acquiring charge facility information relating to charge facilities and including at least the locations and use states of the charge facilities, a search unit (220) for finding, in response to a request from a requesting vehicle, target charging facilities, which are charging facilities which the requesting vehicle can use, a vehicle specification unit (220) which specifies as specific vehicles those of the vehicles (but excluding the requesting vehicle) which may possibly use the target charging facilities, a likelihood prediction unit (220) which predicts as the use likelihood the likelihood that the specific vehicles will use the target charging facilities, and a providing unit (210, 220) for providing information on the basis of the use likelihoods to the requesting vehicle. In this way, information about charging facilities which a vehicle can most likely use can be provided as appropriate.
