Abstract:
An information providing device (10, 60) according to one aspect of the disclosure of the present invention comprises: an information signal generating unit (11) that generates an information signal that includes information for a target; a converting unit (13) that converts the generated information signal into sound waves and outputs the sound waves; and a wireless communication unit (14) that performs wireless transmission and reception of data to and from a communication device (50). In addition, the information providing device is able to receive an activation signal transmitted from a signal outputting device (40) using a specific wireless transmission medium, and upon receiving the activation signal, the information providing device is shifted to a state in which the information providing device can wirelessly transmit or receive data to or from the communication device (50).
