Abstract:
This information provision device is an information provision device for providing vehicles with information on multiple charging stations, including information at least on the locations of the charging stations, and is characterized by being equipped with: a storage means (230) for storing the information on the multiple charging stations; a transmission means (220) for transmitting the information on the multiple charging stations stored in the storage means (230) to the vehicles; an acquisition means (220) for obtaining charging records of the multiple charging stations; a calculation means for calculating a determination period, which is used for determining whether or not the provision of the charging station information should be stopped, for each charging station on the basis of the charging records of the charging stations; and a control means that compares the determination period with an unused period, that is, a period since the last charging performed at the charging station, for each charging station and causes a transmission means (220) to stop transmitting the information on the charging station if the unused period exceeds the determination period.
