Abstract:
In this information provision method, in response to access by a user using a display terminal, first display data, which includes a plurality of assessment items used for assessing the reliability of a service provider when selecting a service provider to which the user will give permission to use the log information of a target device, is transmitted to the display terminal; selection information is received which indicates a selected assessment item set, which is at least one assessment item selected using the display terminal from among the plurality of assessment items included in the first display data; second display data, which indicates a reference assessment item set including assessment items, from among the plurality of assessment items received from the terminals of a plurality of other users, which are similar to or the same as the assessment items included in the selected assessment item set indicated by the selection information, is transmitted to the display terminal; and thereafter, compilation information indicating a compiled assessment item set compiled from the selected assessment item set is received from the display terminal and the log information is provided to the computer of the service provider selected on the basis of the compiled assessment item set.
