Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and provides an information push method and system that improve user demand on the basis of a current location, capable of pushing information related to a current location which is not a place where the user frequently appears, so as to improve the probability of a user's demand for push information and avoid repeated push by pushing according to serial numbers of push information. The method comprises: a vehicle-mounted device sends, to a server, positioning information carrying a current location of the vehicle-mounted device and a maximum serial number that is previously received by the vehicle-mounted device and corresponds to the current location; the server collects, on the basis of a navigation service, statistics about places where the vehicle-mounted device frequently appears, after determining that the current location is not a place where the vehicle-mounted device frequently appears, obtains target push information according to the current location of the vehicle-mounted device and the maximum serial number corresponding to the current location, the target push information being push information corresponding to the current location and having a serial number greater than the maximum serial number, and sends the target push information to the vehicle-mounted device; and the vehicle-mounted device receives and plays the target push information.
