Abstract:
An information pushing method for use when notifying the state of a mailbox, and a smart mailbox. Convenience is brought to the user whilst ensuring that the user does not miss important information; the interests of the patent holder are highlighted by means of pushing patent information after the technology is used. The method comprises: receiving a start-up command inputted by a delivery person after placing into a detection area an item to be placed in a mailbox (S201); on the basis of the start-up command, photographing the item and acquiring a photograph of the item (S202); on the basis of the photograph of the item, extracting item attribute information (S203); after the delivery person places the item into the mailbox, sending the item attribute information to the user associated with the mailbox to notify the user associated with the mailbox of the receipt of the item, and pushing patent information to the user (S204).
