Abstract:
An information recording/reproducing device is provided with a radiation source
(1), such as a semiconductor laser; a spatial modulation element (6) for splitting
a laser beam (2) outputted from the radiation source (1) into many diffracted
beams; and an objective lens (7) for collecting the many diffracted beams to different
points, respectively. The leaser beam (2) outputted from the radiation source
(1) is split into the many diffracted beams by the spatial modulation element
(6), the many diffracted beams are collected to the different points in a photosensitive
layer (8b) of an information recording medium (8) by the objective lens (7), and
information is recorded on the photosensitive layer (8b) of the information
recording medium (8) by collection of the light collecting points. Thus, the
information recording device can perform high contrast recording without being
affected by stray light and diffraction during signal recording.
