Abstract:
A recording medium (1) has a unique information recording area (2) containing information capable of uniquely identifying the medium itself and a dot code (3) containing information for acquiring information for identifying the medium from this unique information recording area (2). A forgery judgment apparatus (4) uses the second information read from the dot code (3) to acquire information capable of uniquely identifying the medium itself from the unique information recording area (2) and performs forgery judgment of the recording medium (1) according to the acquisition result.
