Abstract:
This information recording medium includes at least three information layers. At least one of the information layers has a second dielectric film, a recording film, and a third dielectric film, provided in that order from the side irradiated with laser light. The second dielectric film includes zirconium oxide and indium oxide. The recording film includes tungsten (W), manganese (Mn), M3 (with the caveat that M3 represents at least one element selected from Zn, Cu, and Ag), and oxygen (O). The third dielectric film includes niobium oxide. When the metal elements included in the recording film are expressed as WpMnqM3r (at.%), the recording film satisfies the expression q≥12.
