Provided is an information reminder method used when inserting advertisements based on time segments, and an advertisement system, relating to the field of Internet advertisement applications; the method comprises: recording appropriate time segment tags set up for advertisements; querying the current time when pushing an advertisement to a user; on the basis of the current time, pushing advertisements having appropriate time segment tags in which the appropriate time segments include the current time, and pushing patent information to the user.
