Abstract:
An information reminding method and apparatus (1000, 1100, 1200) for a smart door mat. The method comprises: when it is detected that there is a person standing in a preset foot landing area of a smart door mat, acquiring shoe sole feature information of a user to be detected (S101); and according to the shoe sole feature information, executing a reminding operation for the user to be detected (S102). By means of acquiring and analyzing shoe sole feature information of a user to be detected and then executing, on the basis of the shoe sole feature information, a reminding operation for the user to be detected, the user can learn of the shoe sole feature in a timely manner and the user further knows, on the basis of the shoe sole feature, the wear to a shoe or walking gait information of the user, etc., thereby improving the user experience.
