Abstract:
Provided are an information reporting method and a communication apparatus. The method can comprise: a terminal device decoding a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) in a first synchronization signal block (SSB) sent by a first intra-frequency neighboring cell of the terminal device, so as to obtain an index of the first SSB, wherein the first intra-frequency neighboring cell performs communication in a time-division duplex mode; the terminal device measuring the first SSB to obtain a signal measurement result of the first SSB; and the terminal device reporting the signal measurement result of the first SSB and the index of the first SSB to an access network device. A measurement result of an asynchronous cell can be reported in a timely manner in a TDD mode when synchronization is not maintained between intra-frequency cells.
