Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure are an information reporting method, and an apparatus, which can be applied to the technical field of communications. The method, which is executed by a terminal device, comprises: in response to sending a random access preamble by using a random access resource associated with a reference signal, reporting, to a network-side device, information related to a random access attempt on the reference signal, wherein the reference signal is an SSB or a CSI-RS. Therefore, when a random access preamble is sent by using a random access resource associated with a reference signal, a terminal device supports the reporting, to a network-side device, of information related to a random access attempt on the reference signal.
