Abstract:

An information retrieval method and apparatus and an electronic device. The method comprises: acquiring a retrieval image, which contains at least one retrieval target (S101); acquiring images of the retrieval targets, and displaying an image list, wherein the image list comprises the images of the retrieval targets (S102); when the image of any retrieval target is selected in the image list, highlighting the retrieval target corresponding to the selected image in the retrieval image (S103); and acquiring a retrieval instruction for the selected image of the retrieval target, and performing retrieval on the basis of the selected image of the retrieval target (S104). Because the electronic device can display an image list, a user can conveniently and accurately select, in the image list, the image of a target to be retrieved; and the images of retrieved targets do not overlap in the image list so that misoperation can be avoided. The present invention thus can improve the convenience of user operation, facilitate information retrieval, and improve user experience.
