Abstract:
An information search apparatus (1) that searches for information related to a word is provided with: an input unit (11) for inputting the word; a pattern generation unit (13) that generates, when a new word is inputted after a prescribed number of words have been inputted, word group patterns for the case when the new word is to be added to the previously inputted words and for the case when the new word is to replace the previously inputted words; an appearance information deriving unit (14X) that derives, for each of the generated word group patterns, appearance information that corresponds to the probability that a word group pattern will appear; and a determination unit (15) that determines, on the basis of the derived appearance information, a word group pattern to be used in a new search.
