Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an information sending method and an information receiving method, which can be applied to a WLAN system supporting an IEEE 802.11 protocol family, such as 802.11be/Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 8, EHT or a next-generation protocol. By modifying the value of the negotiation type field of a TWT element, or by extending a broadcast TWT parameter set and designing some fields or values thereof in the extended broadcast TWT parameter set, or by specifying the number and position of the broadcast TWT parameter set comprising restricted TWT service information in one TWT element, or by introducing a new element type and an element identifier for identifying the element type, carrying of a restricted TWT service information field in a broadcast management frame is supported, and misreading of information in the TWT element by a traditional station caused by the carrying of the restricted TWT service information field in the broadcast management frame is avoided.
