Abstract:
In an information sharing system comprised of a plurality of information terminal devices,
the role of each information terminal device is permitted to change and information
can be shared in accordance with user needs for each information terminal device.
A plurality of information terminal devices are set to mutually transmit and
receive information through a communication network, etc., so that an information
sharing system is formed. In the case that the information terminal device functions
as a terminal device on an information providing side, the information terminal
device transmits a list of the providing information to the other information
terminal devices at the request of an information terminal device on a receiving
side. When the information terminal device on the information providing side
receives an information providing request from the other information terminal
devices, the former transmits the requested information to at least the information
terminal device which has transmitted such a request. In the case, on the other
hand, that the information terminal device functions as a terminal device on
the information receiving side, the information terminal device requests an
information terminal device on the information providing side to transmit a
list of providing information. On receipt of the providing information list, the
information terminal device on the information receiving side transmits an
information providing request designated by a user to the information provider of
the information terminal device.
