Abstract:
Provided are an information transmission device and an information transmission method that suitably transmit information pertaining to power generation or power storage. The present invention provides a uniform message format for transmitting power generation efficiency and other power generation condition information, remaining capacity and power storage efficiency of a secondary battery, and other information pertaining to power storage conditions, to a variety of power generation devices or power storage devices that can be connected to various outdoor-use devices that cannot use a commercial power source, such as a portable type electronic device. The electronic device uses power from a power generation device or a power storage device, and on the electronic device side, messages from any of the power generation devices or power storage devices are analyzed and presented to a user.
