Abstract:

The present invention is an information transmission device which transmits, to an information provision destination, personal information of a driver of a vehicle, including at least one of vehicle current location information, vehicle operation information, and vehicle status information of the vehicle, the information transmission device comprising: a reception unit which receives the personal information together with a vehicle identifier of the vehicle and a personal identifier of the driver from the vehicle or a personal communication terminal of the driver; a personal information storage unit which stores values of the personal information for each of a plurality of items of the personal information; an information provision policy storage unit which stores information provision policies, which are conditions for allowing provision of the values of the personal information to the information provision destination, for each item of the personal information; and a transmission unit which transmits, in accordance with the information provision policies for each item of the personal information, the values of the personal information together with at least one of the identifier of the vehicle or the identifier of the user to the information provision destination.
