Abstract:
Disclosed are an information transmission method and apparatus, a communication device and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring operation administration and maintenance (OAM) information in an optical network; encapsulating the acquired OAM information to form an OAM frame, wherein the OAM frame includes N data frames with a frame length of L, N changes along with a change in the magnitude of the amount of the OAM information, and L remains unchanged along with the change in the magnitude of the amount of the OAM information; and sending out the OAM frame. According to the present solution, a variable fixed-length frame can be used to transmit OAM information, thereby being conducive to coding and decoding of a message, facilitating processing, reducing time consumption, also being conducive to extension according to message content, and ensuring extendibility; and the problems in the prior art of complex processing, consuming of a large amount of time, and poor extendibility of an OAM information transmission scheme are effectively solved.
