Abstract:
The present application provides an information transmission method, an apparatus, and a medium, which avoid failure of a user equipment to camp on a cell and also reduce power consumption waste. A user equipment receives a service start time of a first satellite cell, and determines the service start time of the first satellite cell as a service start time of a next satellite cell that provides a service for the user equipment; or the user equipment receives first satellite cell list information, which comprises a service start time of at least one satellite cell and may further comprise coverage area information of at least one satellite cell, acquires from the first satellite cell list information a satellite cell capable of covering the position of the user equipment, and takes the service start time of the satellite cell as a service start time of the next satellite cell. Different execution operations are determined by means of received content, so that unnecessary signaling overheads can be reduced and resource utilization efficiency is improved.
