Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an information transmission method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a terminal determines, according to the type of the terminal and an association relationship between a random access channel occasion RO and the terminal type, a target RO for sending a random access preamble; and the terminal sends the random access preamble on the target RO. According to the information transmission method and apparatus, and the storage medium provided in the embodiments of the present invention, different types of terminals are distinguished by using different ROs, the different types of terminals send the random access preamble in different ROs, and a network side determines the type of the terminal according to the RO used when the terminal sends the random access preamble, thereby avoiding fragmentation of resources and improving the utilization rate of the resources.
