Abstract:
Disclosed are an information transmission method and apparatus, which relate to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: receiving a physical control format indicator channel (PCFICH), wherein the PCFICH carries time-frequency resource information about various coverage classes in a PDCCH region; determining time-frequency resource information about a PDCCH of its own coverage class according to configuration information about the PDCCH region and the time-frequency resource information about various coverage classes in the PDCCH region; and receiving the PDCCH of its own coverage class at a time-frequency resource position indicated by the determined time-frequency resource information. By carrying time-frequency resource information about various coverage classes in a PDCCH region by means of a PCFICH, flexible arrangement of the time-frequency resource information is achieved, and resource waste caused due to inflexible base station division is avoided.
