Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are an information transmission method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method comprises: a terminal device determines a first message, the first message comprising a first field and a second field, the first field comprising a buffer status report (BSR) of a logical channel group to be transmitted, the second field comprising a first subfield, the first subfield being used for indicating the type of the BSR, and if the BSR is a truncated BSR in type, the first subfield when the first field comprises a BSR of one logical channel group being same as the first subfield when the first field comprises BSRs of multiple logical channel groups; and the terminal device sends the first message to the network device. Accordingly, if a BSR reported by the terminal device is a truncated BSR, a same LCID can be used when the terminal device reports a BSR of one logical channel or reports BSRs of multiple logical channels, thereby reducing bit overheads of the LCID.
