Abstract:
An infrared thermometer measuring method, measuring body temperature by detecting the infrared rays emitted by a tympanic membrane, comprising the following steps: step 1, initializing the infrared thermometer; step 2, setting the measuring state temperature of the measuring probe of the infrared thermometer; step 3, the measuring probe attaining and maintaining the set measuring state temperature via heating or cooling; step 4, sending a measuring target object temperature control signal to a controller via an activation apparatus; step 5, measuring the target object temperature for specified number of times via an infrared sensor under the control of the controller; and step 6, turning off the heating or cooling apparatus after completing the temperature measurement. The measuring method allows the measuring probe to always remain at the set measuring state temperature, thus eliminating the impact on the precision of temperature measurement due to the limited heat capacity of the measuring probe and variable ambient temperature, and greatly improving the precision of temperature measurement.
