Abstract:
Provided is an inspection machine that is of a type capable of automatically confirming and inspecting whether an infusion pump is accurately operating and that eliminates the necessity of burdensome maintenance of a closed system where drainage is not carried out. This infusion pump inspection machine is provided with: a syringe 15; and a plunger 21, wherein when an infusion liquid W flows into the syringe 15 through a connection hole 17 when an infusion pump P is driven, the plunger 21 is retracted, and the flow rate is measured on the basis of the amount of retraction. An annular recess 31 is provided to the outer peripheral surface of the plunger 21, and a seal ring 37 is fitted into the recess. When the liquid pressure of the infusion liquid W is received, the seal ring 37 is expanded to be sealed, and the plunger 21 is centered coaxially to the syringe 15. Thus, the flow rate of the infusion liquid W is accurately reflected in the moving amount of the plunger 21. Since the infusion liquid W is accumulated in the syringe 15 and would not be discharged, a drainage facility is not necessary, and inspection work can be carried out at any place.
