Title:
INHIBITOR FOR CELLULAR AGING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/102572
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A novel inhibitor for cellular aging which can effectively and fundamentally inhibit cellular aging. This inhibitor for cellular aging contains, as the active ingredient, a substance capable of inhibiting the expression of a gene encoding G protein γ subunit 11 or a substance capable of inhibiting the cellular aging effect of G protein γ subunit 11. Because of being capable of preventing the induction of cellular aging by oxidation stress, this inhibitor for cellular aging is applicable to various purposes on the basis of the cellular rejuvenation. In particular, it is usable in developing cosmetics having anti-aging effects, health foods, drugs and so on.
