Abstract:
Provided are: an injection molded body having further improved mechanical strength and a method for producing same; a method for producing a composite fiber; a CNT-attached carbon fiber and a method for producing same; and a method for producing a carbon fiber composite. A molded body (10) is injection molded using a composite fiber (11) as a reinforcing fiber. A structure composed of a plurality of carbon nanotubes is formed on the surface of the composite fiber (11). The carbon nanotubes are bent in shape. The carbon nanotubes are attached to the curved surface of a carbon fiber in various postures to form the structure. A sizing agent crosslinks the carbon nanotubes, which are in direct contact with each other, via a carbodiimide-derived structure produced by reacting a functional group of the carbon nanotubes with a carbodiimide group.
