Abstract:
An injection molded lid (100) for use with a container, which includes a lid body (110) and a securing member(150). The lid body(110) includes a cover portion(120) and a flange portion(130). One side wall(134) of the flange portion has one or more notches(138). The securing member(150) includes a frame(152) and at least one tab (154). The tab (154) covers the notch. The securing member (150) provides extra fastening strength that prevents the spillage or leakage of the content within the container.
