Title:
INJECTION-MOLDED MAGNET HOLDER FOR A BRUSHLESS ELECTRIC MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/012420
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotor unit (1) for a brushless electric motor, comprising: - an annular rotor core (3) which surrounds a central axis (2), - a plurality of magnet assemblies which are arranged about the rotor core (3) in a circumferential direction of the rotor unit (1), and each of which has a convex outer circumferential surface (16), an inner contact surface (8), two axial end faces (12) and two lateral surfaces (10, 11) which face the radial direction, - a magnet holder (21) which is integrally injection-molded on the rotor core (3) and has a number of holding sections (20) which are arranged at regular distances from one another in the circumferential direction, each of which is arranged between two adjacent magnet assemblies. The holding sections have in each case a shaft section and a head section (23), wherein the shaft section lies between the magnet assemblies in the circumferential direction and the head section is formed at one end of the shaft section, wherein the head section projects beyond the shaft section in the radial direction inwards towards the rotor core and engages into a corresponding recess (26) of the rotor core (3), which is arranged in the region of the end face of the rotor core (3), and thus fixes the magnet holder to the rotor core in the radial direction.
