Abstract:
This injection needle for an endoscope is provided with: an outer sheath; an inner sheath; a needle pipe located at the front end section of the inner sheath and having a front end section capable of protruding from the front end of the outer sheath as the inner sheath moves forward and backward; a stopper; a contact section for engagement, which is formed integrally with the outer sheath from the same material as the outer sheath, protrudes further radially inward than the inner peripheral surface of the outer sheath at the front end section of the outer sheath, and is configured so as to be capable of coming into contact with the stopper; and an operation member connected to the base end section of the inner sheath and moved in the longitudinal axis direction of the inner sheath to move the inner sheath forward and backward relative to the outer sheath. In a straight state, the range in which the operation member is movable comprises: a first range in which the operation member moves while the stopper is located at a distance from the contact section for engagement; and a second range in which the operation member moves while the stopper is in contact with the contact section for engagement. The length of the second range is greater than the difference between the inner diameter of the outer sheath and the outer diameter of the inner sheath, and the thickness of the contact section for engagement in the longitudinal axis direction is greater than the radial thickness of the inner sheath and greater than the radial thickness of the outer sheath.
