Abstract:
An injection type zinc-air metal fuel cell, comprising cell units with a feeding device
and a zinc gel accumulator tank (9) communicated with thereof, injection inlet
(8) of fluid zinc gel electrode of the cell units connected to an inlet of feeding
device, and an outlet of the fluid zinc gel electrode thereof connected to the
tank (9); a clappet valve and a break valve (7) are provided between the feeding device
and cell units, between the cell units and the tank (9) respectively. A method
of replacing negative electrode is as follow: 1) turning on the break valve (7)
in the bottom of the cell units and starting up a driver motor so that all of the fluid
zinc gel within the cell chamber is discharged into the tank (9); 2) turning off
the break valve (7) in the bottom of the cell units and turning on the clappet valve
between the feeding device and cell units so that all of the fluidic zinc gel is
discharged, injecting fresh fluid zinc gel into the tank (9) at the same time;
3) turning off the clappet valve, and accomplishing the replacement of the negative
electrode.
