Abstract:
Provided are an ink cartridge and an installation method therefor, wherein the ink cartridge at least comprises a housing (11) and a handle (12), and the housing (11) comprises an ink outlet (111). A plane where the ink outlet (111) is located is taken as a first face (1a); another surface of the ink cartridge opposite to the first face (1a) is taken as a second face (1b); a direction in which a longer side of the first face (1a) extends is taken as an X-axis; a direction in which a shorter side of the first face (1a) extends is taken as a Y-axis; and an axis perpendicular to both the X-axis and the Y-axis is taken as a Z-axis. The handle (12) comprises an operation portion (121), an engagement portion (122) and a branch portion (123). The branch portion (123) is connected to the operation portion (121). A distance from the engagement portion (122) to the branch portion (123) and a distance from the operation portion (121) to the branch portion (123) should satisfy the following formula: 2/3 t < d < t, where t is the distance from the operation portion (121) to the branch portion (123) in the direction of the Z-axis, and d is the distance from the engagement portion (122) to the branch portion (123) in the direction of the Z-axis. A snap portion (15) of the ink cartridge is snap-fitted into a slot (34) on a holding portion (3) of the ink cartridge, the second face (1b) of the ink cartridge is pressed such that the ink cartridge presses gradually against the holding portion (3) of the ink cartridge, and a lever bore (33) in the holding portion (3) of the ink cartridge engages with the engagement portion (122) in the ink cartridge. The ink cartridge is simple to install, is stable in operation, is easy to remove, and has a long service life.
