Abstract:
The present invention provides an ink composition for electro-optic applications, the ink composition containing at least one compound that is selected from the group consisting of compounds of formula (1') and compounds of formula (1"), and an organic solvent that has a boiling point of 120°C or more and a dipole moment of less than 3.0 Debye. (In the formulae, D1 represents an electron-donating group; X1 represents a specific divalent conjugated linking group and the like; and A1 represents a group of formula (a1).)
