Title:
INK COMPOSITION FOR INKJET RECORDING, INK SET, AND IMAGE RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/218612
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An ink composition for inkjet recording containing water, a pigment, and a water soluble polymer that has a carboxy group. The water soluble polymer fulfills formula (1). The ink composition for inkjet recording is used for recoding ink images on a recording medium that has a pretreatment fluid applied thereto that includes at least one type of flocculant selected from the group consisting of acids, cationic polymers, and polyvalent metal salts. 230 mg KOH/g ≤ Σ (a × b) ≤ 750 mg KOH ... (1). In the formula, a represents the water soluble polymer acid value, the units being mg KOH/g, and b represents the water soluble polymer content relative to the total ink composition volume, the units being % by mass.
