Abstract:
An ink composition that is for use in forming images by ink-jet printing and includes platy metal particles which comprise a metallic element having a standard oxidation-reduction potential nobler than -1.65 V and which have an average equivalent circular diameter of 10 nm or larger but smaller than 500 nm and an average aspect ratio, which is the ratio of the average equivalent circular diameter to the average thickness, of 3 or greater; an ink set; an image formation method; and printed matter.
