Abstract:
An ink composition for water-based ballpoint pens is provided which, even if the ink uses pigment-containing colored resin particles, minimizes the occurrence of writing defects and is not prone to the phenomenon of skipping during line drawing, even in writing under high load conditions or when the writing angle is high. An example is given of an ink composition for water-based ballpoint pens which contains at least a naphthalene sulfonic acid formalin condensate and urethane-base colored resin particles that have an average particle diameter of 0.3-2μm and contain a pigment.
