Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ink-holding unit and an inkjet printer, said inkjet printer being provided with the ink-holding unit. The inkjet printer is also provided with a printer body and said ink-holding unit is provided with a first member and a second member. The first member is configured so as to hold ink that is to be supplied to the printer body. An infusion section is provided on the first member and is used for infusion of ink. The second member is connected to the first member so as to allow rotation, and by being configured to allow rotation between a closed position and an open position with respect to the first member, covers the infusion section when the second member is in the closed position and exposes the infusion section when the second member is in the open position. The axis line for the rotation here is parallel to the front-to-back direction of the ink-holding unit and is located on a side close to the printer body. The ink-holding unit used in the inkjet printer disclosed in the present invention is able to reduce the space occupied by the inkjet printer.
