Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ink jet head, a bubble removing method for an ink jet head, and an ink jet recording apparatus capable of efficiently removing bubbles remaining in an ink storage chamber provided with a filter. The problem is solved by means of an ink jet head 1 in which a filter 42 is provided inside an ink manifold 4, an ink storage chamber 41 is divided into an upstream-side ink chamber 411 and a downstream-side ink chamber 412 with the filter 42 interposed therebetween, the upstream-side ink chamber 411 communicates with inflow paths 44a, 5a and first outflow paths 44b, 5b, and the downstream-side ink chamber 412 communicates with second outflow paths 44c, 5c without the interposition of the filter 42, wherein a pressure loss is provided in the first outflow paths 44b, 5b and/or ink is sucked from the second outflow paths 44c, 5c, and ink that has flowed into the upstream-side ink chamber 411 from the inflow paths 44a, 5a is also caused to flow into the downstream-side ink chamber 412 via the filter 42, thereby causing ink to flow in the upstream-side ink chamber 411 and the downstream-side ink chamber 412 at the same time.
