Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ink jet head and an ink jet recording apparatus capable of satisfactorily removing remaining air bubbles inside a pressure chamber. To solve the above problem, the present invention is provided with: a common ink chamber 41 that stores ink; at least one pressure chamber 23 that communicates with the common ink chamber 41 and causes a volume fluctuation by means of pressure generation means; a nozzle 22 that communicates with the pressure chamber 23; a nozzle-part discharge path 26a that communicates with the pressure chamber 23 near the nozzle 22 inside the pressure chamber 23 and discharges the ink inside the pressure chamber 23; and at least one discharge path that communicates with the pressure chamber 23 at a position distant from the nozzle 22 inside the pressure chamber 23 and causes the ink inside the pressure chamber 23 to be discharged.
