Abstract:
Provided is an ink jet head (10), etc., that reduces the amount of waste fluid when bubbles are being removed. This ink jet head (10) comprises: a common ink chamber (16) formed such that ink can be introduced therein and which stores ink supplied to a nozzle; a filter (F) arranged so as to partition this common ink chamber into an area (A1) on an ink introduction side and an area (A2) on the nozzle side, said filter being for removing impurities in the ink in inside the common ink chamber; and a second outlet (13c) for discharging ink, that communicates with the area on the nozzle side in the common ink chamber partitioned by the filter. A lower end opening of the second outlet is connected to one end side of the area on the nozzle side of the common ink chamber. The filter has a surface section (Fa) formed on an incline such that the second outlet lower end opening side thereof becomes higher and the other end side, in the area on the nozzle side where the second outlet is not arranged, gradually becomes lower.
