Abstract:

Two first follower rollers (A) are arranged at positions that are on the most upstream side in a sub scan direction and substantially symmetrical relative to the center of paper in a main scan direction, two first rollers (B) are arranged at positions that are intermediate positions in the sub scan direction and substantially symmetrical relative to the center of the paper in the main scan direction, and one first follower roller (C) is provided at a position that is on the most downstream side in the sub scan direction and at the center of the paper in the main scan direction. Pressing force at the rear end of paper (10) is sequentially released in three divided steps, a clasping force and a transporting force vary in a stepped manner, load variation at the moment when the rear end of the paper (10) is released from a clasping force of a first transporting roller (4) also varies in a stepped manner, and transportation precision is not disordered even for a moment.
