Abstract:

An ink jet recording method capable of restricting blurring of printed characters and providing clear color printing, which comprises the step of emitting particles of an ink composition, containing at least colorants, a thermoplastic resin and water, onto a recording medium; and the step of heating the recording medium to a temperature higher than the softening point of the thermoplastic resin so that blurring of the ink can be effectively restricted.
