Abstract:
Provided is an ink which has excellent storage stability and with which it is possible to manufacture a light-emitting element having a long light-emitting lifespan. Also provided is a light-emitting element having a long light-emitting lifespan. This ink contains: particles constituted by light-emitting semiconductor nanocrystals and a dispersant supported on the semiconductor nanocrystals; and a dispersion medium having a boiling point of 150–340°C at atmospheric pressure and comprising 20–80 mass% of a carbonyl-group-containing compound that has at least one carbonyl group per molecule. The quantity of the particles in the ink is 50 mass% or less.
