Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ink by which printed material having no streaks can be produced even when, for example, there is a long distance between the surface of cardboard or other print medium and an ink head. The present invention relates to an ink which is used in an ink jet printing method in which the distance from an ink jet head surface (x) having an ink outlet to a position (y) where a perpendicular line to the surface (x) intersects a print medium is 2 mm or longer, characterized in that the ink has a viscosity in the range of 2 mPa∙s or more and less than 9 mPa∙s and a surface tension in the range of 20 to 40 mN/m.
