Abstract:
Provided is an ink supply device in which the pressure in a negative pressure formation unit can be regulated, and an increase in device size and cost is suppressed. This ink supply device 8 comprises: a main tank 81; a sub-tank 82; a first ink flow path 811; a first liquid feed pump 814; a first open/close valve 812; a negative pressure formation unit 86; a pressure sensor 866; a second ink flow path 823; a second liquid feed pump 836; a third ink flow path 881; a second open/close valve 882; and a control unit 9 that regulates the pressure in the negative pressure formation unit 86 by driving and controlling each of the first liquid feed pump 814, the first open/close valve 812, the second liquid feed pump 836, and the second open/close valve 882 on the basis of the pressure in the negative pressure formation unit 86 as detected by the pressure sensor 866.
